10/2015 Upate Be patient. This latest update takes a long time to finish. It took about 20 minutes to complete. Just wait. Don't panic. It will conclude eventually.
WORST SOFTWARE EVER IT WAS SO SIMPLE BLUETOOTH MAKE SOUND GO IN IT COMES OUT OF YOU SONOS PLAYER BUT NO YOU MUCKED IT UP UNLESS YOU CAN CHANGE IT BACK TO A DEFAULT BLUETOOTH AUDIO DEVICE WITH SOME GOOD THINGS YOU SUCK
Automatically shuts off between 24 & 48 hrs usage Just a horribly designed UI. Hardware shuts off after between 24 & 48 hours of continuous usage. Favorites are limited to 30: silly, it's a big world! Settings are scattered randomly: nonsensical. Organizing alarms by time-of-day instead of day-of-week: plain stupid. Play volume is analog while alarm volume is percentage: inconsistent design. Great hardware; the absolute worst UI on Google Play. Note_3 running Lollypop 5.0
UI Pains I'd like to be able to see the Spotify music held on my phone in various ways (i.e. alphabetically, by artist and by album). Can only list them by most recently saved at present. Also, could the roulette of menus be clarified? It's not very intuitive and I'm tired of unexpectedly exiting the app.
Grandy Too much instability blamed upon broadband connection. App often can't find Sonos controller, but tech tests on my broadband show no problem. Magic when working.
Excellent hardware; app good but doesn't play absolutely everything (bbc iplayer listen again). Android app does helpfully extend your wireless network using sonos net though (iphone app doesn't do this). Although not perfect I would not be without it.
This update adds support for new Spotify features like Artist Radio, Track Radio, Genre and Mood playlists, and more.
This update also fixes an issue seen during the setup of some Sonos 5.1 surround sound systems.
All Sonos apps and systems are required to update. Simply start the Sonos app and select Update Now.
