Nieuwe update loopt vast op privacy scherm gaat niet verder wat nu?
Any infinitesimal drop in wifi connection, which you wouldn't normally even notice, causes the app to skip to the next track. This has been a known problem for ages and Sonos haven't fixed in with the 12.2017 update. Have they never heard of buffering? I would advise not to invest in the very expensive Sonos hardware until this is fixed.
No rhyme or reason to the menu system. The app uses 2% of the phone's battery even if it was never launched, why? Stop it running at start up. On a power outage, your have to regroup the speakers, every, single, time. Why? Good job you put the word 'Android' on the app name...
Used to be the best, the updates have consistently made it worse. Your interface was awesome, now it's hot garbage. Slow, difficult to group, disables half my features until I update. Hate, hate, hate. I used to recommend your products to all my clients, but now you simply don't care about quality software. Down from 2 stars to 1! Waste of money!!
The latest updates just get worse and worse. The most glaring problem is that after each update, the app doesn't recognize all of my speakers, which defeats the entire purpose. Secondly, instead of opening into a menu where you choose your music, it opens into a screen that only displays your last station. If you flick this screen down, Sonos arbitrarily offers you 4 options that have nothing to do with most frequently played. The toolbar on the bottom is not intuitive and does not make up for the lack of sidebar it used to have. At least once a week, I encounter some issue with being able to turn on my Sonos system and start playing music. Stop trying to make it sleek and just make it function!
The only reason I have this app, is because it's the only way to play music in our break room at work. It's not very user friendly to work, slow to respond, has far too many updates which only seem to be making it even slower. The app can never be fully shut down and is continuously running in the background of your phone. I've contacted the support, but they blame my phone or other apps, even though it is glaringly obvious their app does this. So support is equally useless for this battery draining app.
Mess is all I got to say. For something that should just work I had it take down my network as broadcast storm spent 12 hours trouble shooting and fixing it. When it works it good but when it doesn't it's a hot piece of expensive paper weights, latest update took one of my speakers off line my phone never sees it and I have to reboot my router more times in the month I've owned these speakers then in the last year, if you want a full time job get them otherwise just don't I kinda of regret getting this speakers
This update delivers a couple of performance improvements, bug fixes and a security update for the WiFi WPA2 KRACK vulnerability.
