It transfers JPEGs just fine but why won't it transfer RAW files? Wifi SD cards have been able to do that for years. If it could do this one simple thing I could travel with just an iPad/tablet for work and not an entire laptop. Honestly how do you guys design a camera like the A7ii and A9 but not consider that we would want to use the inbuilt wifi for RAW transfers...
It's a bit frustrating that a large corporation such as Sony can't preemptively update their Android app. The developer previews for Oreo/8.0 were available months ago. There was plenty of time to get the app ready before Oreo was available to the public. It's not a month AFTER Oreo went public and the app still isn't supported.
Ok but needs two things. Need to be able to transfer raw files, no idea why this isn't an option, and also we need a method of quitting the app properly so there isn't a constant notification searching for device. Having to force close it gets annoying when I only connect to my a99ii every few days.
App does not always work. Will stop working on my phone but works on tablet. Very frustrating still needs work. Sony needs to do a better job. This has been an issue for years. Fix it already!!!
I love my QX 10 because of the pic quality. But not sure why i can't record videos on thus app? App doesn't detect SD card though the video function works. I'm Pissed off it use to be work before....very unhappy
Nightmare! used with RX100 it has timer & capture button, that's it. No exposure, iso, SS... I believe it's defective as certain functions are missing. Smart Remote is also embedded in camera
- Supports RX0.
- By connecting RX0 to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and using the app, you can now remotely check up to 5 view angles at the same time from Live View, and also take photos or apply settings at once.
