It's a bit frustrating that a large corporation such as Sony can't preemptively update their Android app. The developer previews for Oreo/8.0 were available months ago. There was plenty of time to get the app ready before Oreo was available to the public. It's not a month AFTER Oreo went public and the app still isn't supported.
Suddenly my qx10 no longer has steady hand or action shots since last update. So now I'm better off just using my phone camera as I can't take zoomed in shots without massive blur and fuzz
App does not always work. Will stop working on my phone but works on tablet. Very frustrating still needs work. Sony needs to do a better job. This has been an issue for years. Fix it already!!!
For some reason there is always a notification in my notification bar that says "searching for shooting device". Is there any way to disable this? I feel like this would drain my phones battery if it is constantly looking for my camera.
The latest app update made it so that there is a persistent notification in my notification tray that I can't dismiss. Please revert the behavior to what it was before. Don't know why you guys are so terrible at supporting this app.
Thanks Sony for listening to my and probably many other people's request to divert the photos straight to the memory card, as a sometime burlesque photographer I take quite often more than a 32gb card can hold in an evening so it's a relief to know I can now take more and transfer them to my tablet to review
- Supports RX0.
- By connecting RX0 to a smartphone via Wi-Fi and using the app, you can now remotely check up to 5 view angles at the same time from Live View, and also take photos or apply settings at once.
