Good app with four different quality settings: Superior (16 bit uncompressed wav), High (128 kbps aac), Medium (64 kbps aac), and Basic (32 kbps aac). You can also choose between stereo and mono recordings. There are "wind" and "normalize" filters too, as well as a crop option, but haven't used these so I can't say how it works. No ads and very light; no bloat. Doesn't run in the background unnecessarily either. But why is there no portrait mode on my tablet?? This is something very basic that should be implemented. Choosing a dark theme would be nice too.
Uninstalling as no longer trust it, every now and then i’ll see it popup on my task bar (but not actually in notification list. Like it’s activating itself or listening.... Haven't used the app in many many months anyway so don’t need it. Since I haven't used it there should be no reason it is trying to do anything either hmmm
Love this app-use it while taking classes at college. Easy to transfer to either desk or laptop. Downfall it doesn't hold much if you continously use it without transfering to either devices. Well worth having though if your audio recorder is dead and need to record.
Would've given 5 stars if it recorded properly. On Moto G4, when the screen is turned off, recording stops. Either that or the app doesn't support files over 10 minutes long, which means it's not really suitable for many scenarios at all.
This is a great recorder. The quality is perfect and the interface is simple. The only issue is I do not see an option for skipping silence. I record book readings and sometimes pause mid sentence to assess the reading. Skipping silence would be a nice option to have. But again, this is a great recorder.
Absolutely amazing quality! My only complaint is that it tends to get a bit maxed out by bass parts and buzzes sometimes as a result - but that only occurs if you're recording something that's really bass-y.
- Technical improvements
- Support for Android O
Voice recorder - Audio recorder. Best recorder for recording
