Possibly the most elegantly designed UX I've ever seen on any metronome. Pulse seems like a good idea and something worth experimenting in the future for live performances. However, this app desperately needs two improvements: 1. Actually show the beat subdivision in writing (quarter notes, eighth notes, etc.) 2. Have the option of sixteenth-triplets (also called sextuplets in some parts of the world).
Docking a star for lack of obvious save button. It's just not intuitive to save a created beat. Sort that out and I'll give it 5 stars. Fact that it's free and they're not harrasing you to buy the pulse is refreshing (I bought it anyway) customer service is top notch too, I've emailed them about this save issue and they got back straight away.
This app is really nice and the company employees are wonderful. They communicate well and fix bugs. Just one problem I really don't like the splash screen. The colorful picture of the violinist doesn't serve any purpose and doesn't relate to my music and only makes the app slower to open and using more system resources
More effort into the promo video than the app. First time user hitting 3 ads and being told to make tracks is a pain in the arse, doesnt meet my needs. Would ideally like bpm to show along the time wheel, and for progress through each beat to show
Every time I open the app, its constantly spams the "Rhythm Reset Shake" splash screen. Which sucks, because I was really digging the app. EDIT: I would turn the "Rhythm Reset Shake" option off if I could actually do anything in the app except close the splash screen, but unfortunately I can't. The issue isn't the option itself, the issue is that it's bugged, and should get a patch.
The latest update causes app to instantly crash. Supposedly support has opened a call from my email but i haven't heard anything yet re a solution. So now i have a bad app and wasted $$ for the wearable metronome that was purchased for the app.
