Finally a cardboard game I can use with a controller. The world is tron-like and gameplay is fun. My setup is Sony Xperia XZ Premium, dual shock 4, vrtj viewer. A couple things keep this from being perfect. One it ignores the vertical aspect of my profile so it's vertically stretched. Two I had to disable right stick because it's registering a constant left spin. But neither are deal breakers and I'll definitely be playing this and showing it off. Response to comment: I already have the latest version.
I really wish you could look around faster, it feels like it lags or is sluggish whenever I turn my head. It makes aiming ridiculously hard. Edit: Thanks for the reply! It's awesome that you're actively updating this! Easily one of the best VR games on the play store :)
This a really fun game! Don't be put off by the graphics style. Yes it looks a little cheezy, but it's meant to and it works great. Runs like a charm on my LG Stylo 3, which isn't exactly a modern, high end phone. YOU MUST HAVE A CONTROLLER. Ideally, a twin stick would be best and that's what I used. This is basically a capture the flag type game. The object is to get to certain locations and capture crystals without getting "de-emulated" by the viral vektorbeasts and their toys. The game is easy to pick up and fun to play. I especially like the "HEADSHOT" label popping up when you pop one of them through the noggin. Game play is smooth, the menus are intuitive, and the puzzles challenging but not unbearably so. The maps are not huge, and so far, I've only played three of six, but they are fun to hunt through Upgraded weapons can be unlocked through achievements or purchased in app, you can also pay to have the ads removed. The ads are not terrible and haven't popped up in the game. The VR experience was very immersive, though I would like an option to turn down the music volume just a bit All in all very worthy of a download. Edit: Found the volume control.
"This cardboard application is not compatible with Daydream headsets." Which is a shame, because it's controlled with a gamepad. :( I disable NFC, but there was no difference. Ended up looking up a Cardboard QR code & scanning that as a workaround. After that, I couldn't get any of the buttons on my Nyko Playpad Pro to sync in the controller setup. Could be because it's an old controller.
This is the best VR app ever. Fantastic game!!My vr was rotting in the box until I found this awesome vr game.please Add more missions and keep up the good work!
