the game is great one of the best rhythm game available with a really good song library. but the ads are way too long. if I see a royal match ad I just close the app. I understand it's f2p and money need to be made but seriously. at least give a reduced ad option for people that buy the season pass thing.

Beatstar is fun, it's a cool rhythm game and looks sick. However, it is a mobile game, so you have to deal with all the BS that comes with mobile games. That is ads, paywalls, etc. What makes this a lesser competitor to other rhythm games is that if you miss a SINGLE note, you fail the song. The only way to continue? Pay. Unlike other games, where you usually have a health meter and can miss more than one note. If it weren't for the corporate greed this game suffers from, it'd be 5 stars.

Idk what y'all did to your tap system, but I've gone from getting almost perfect scores on songs I've played hundreds of times to getting not even gold. And if you can't get at least a platinum on the first try of a "normal" level song, you're making them too difficult. This game just is not fun anymore, it's tedious, and that's why I'll be deleting it yet again.

This update contains changes to how progress can be transferred between devices. We have added support for Sign In with Apple! Link your account with your Apple ID to easily restore your account and transfer between devices.

Also, we are phasing out support for Supercell ID. Your progress is safe, you can restore your account using your email address, but Supercell ID will no longer be accessible for new accounts.
