Welcome to the BRATS On-Demand mobile rider app. This app is used for scheduling trips on Baldwin Regional Area Transit System, Baldwin County's only public transportation service. BRATS is funded and supported by the Baldwin County Commission and the Federal Transit Administration, with oversight from the Alabama Department of Transportation.

Request A Ride: You can use the app to request a shared ride Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, depending on your location. To schedule, simply download the BRATS On-Demand app, create an account, and request a ride anywhere within Baldwin County. You will simply enter the full address where you need to be picked-up from and the address where you need to be dropped-off at, whether you use a mobility device, and how many are traveling with you. Determine the time you would like to be picked up OR the time you need to arrive at your destination. If you desire a round-trip, be sure to schedule a return trip as well. You can also call 251-972-6817 and book a ride with one of our customer service representatives. For your convenience, you can schedule a ride to be picked up as soon as possible or up to 14 days in advance.

How much does it cost? BRATS fares are based on mileage. Trips 0-5 miles are $2.00 each way; 6-10 miles $2.50; 11-15 miles $3.00; and $.50 for each additional 5 miles traveled. Please note, these are one-way fares and do not include the cost of the return trip.

BRATS provides over 400 trips per day to citizens throughout Baldwin County from Perdido to Ft. Morgan and Lillian to Fairhope. Let BRATS get you there!

it used to be great but this new app can't even schedule a ride anymore. no matter what day I try to schedule a day in advance, it won't schedule anything. edit: I try to schedule a bus an exact time I want it. I have a class that starts at 8am and I schedule a trip at 630am but it said it will pick me up at 10am. it's like they don't care anymore.

I'm not a fan of the new app! Why break what's not broken! The other app worked perfectly fine! Adjustments need to be made! Riders only get a 2 minute reminder that the bus is near. Sometimes you'll look in the app to see how far the bus is and it will say 20 mins and the bus will be there to pick you up!

Honest review. It's OK, but they take more money out of your account. Now the previous app, they would take your money right away. Now they wait later and add up each ride you taken and they wait a week to take your money I wish they didn't do that. I wish they would do it like before.
