About this app

TriMet NEXT is a new “on-demand” transit service for people who live and work in the Powell Valley and South Gresham, Oregon, areas. NEXT shuttles connect you to the people and places in your neighborhood, including other bus and MAX lines at nearby transit centers. You can request a ride on NEXT using the NEXT app during service hours, and we’ll come to you!  

Requesting a ride on NEXT is easy — here's how it works:
Tell us where you want to go
The app uses your location and matches you with a friendly NEXT driver who knows where to pick you up
Pay the regular TriMet fare on board using your Hop card, phone or contactless credit/debit card
After you ride, you may be asked to rate your experience

Please note: NEXT is a new, experimental on-demand shuttle service available only in the Powell Valley and South Gresham areas at this time. The TriMet NEXT app can only be used to request a ride on NEXT.

So unbelievably useless it would be funny, if only now I wasn't running late. No matter what I enter for pickup and dropoff I'm told there are no trips available. I'm supposed to believe there's no available route for the division max station to the holgate max station? How about the frickin max maybe?

does not allow me to set a destination to travel to and it does not know my address. it pops up as if I am in another city.

Cannot recognize my home address. it tells me my address is different as in another part of Hillsboro that I am nowhere near.
