Fantastic Would be even better if you could add a math button feature. By that I mean, nutritional value for example asparagus is one spear...would be nice to multiply that with a multiply button. Avocado one whole, would like to devide once, twice, thirds and quarters. Or simply give that info on next page. Also in oz. for odd measurements , 0.5 cup of blackberries isn't easy to interpret but oz are. Than it would be perfect!
Tired of fruit going bad? I really like this app. Very helpful, I have learned a lot more about my fruit and veggies. When to buy and how to store so they stay fresh longer. I'm a big "foodie" and I love to cook from scratch so this has helped me a lot. Its not free but so well worth a couple of bucks. You want to keep fresh produce longer? Get this app!
Very Basic App doesn't show asparagus has vitamin K. App doesn't distinguish between bel peppers that have three or four "bumps" on the bottom and how is changing their flavor and typical uses. Etc etc. App has very basic information and it is incomplete. Love Sparkpeople stuff but this app is a waste of space.
Incredibly useful I've had this app for about 10 minutes and already I love it. Thanks to this app I now know why my peaches and nectarines are going bad so quickly. I also found a good recipe for all those radishes in my fridge. The big bonus is this app has no special permissions. Internet access is it! No friends list, picture album, location data. I am loving it.
Disappointed I paid for this This has the common veggies and fruits & not even all of them. What about giving me info on some of those lesser used or specialties I often see in the supermarket? That's why I bought this thinking it would tell me more than lettuce & grapes. Seriously this should have been a free app due to the limited info.
Great App Absolutely love this app! Features are amazing. Really like the tips on how long to keep fresh fruits and veggies and nutritional values and nutrient search. Only 4 stars though because I would like to also see a section where it generally highlights why the fruit or veggie is good for you (things like antioxidants, particular vitamins or minerals, etc.) and generally how often it should be included in one's diet (I know everyone's diet needs are different but still good to know)
