Great! Used this site and its older apps off and on for a couple years at least. Always helps when I actually use it! Love that this version reminds me to track food and that it makes it super easy to do so! My only complaint/feedback is that I can't connect to my LG Health step tracker, and Spark People doesn't have one of its own (I can't afford to buy one of those health tracker gadgets, so I just want my steps to count towards my exercise within Spark People's app). Overall a great app and very useful tool!
Update: OK, so either they added the feature or I was overlooking it (very possible), either way the developer contacted me and gave me step by step instructions on how to track my weight! I love this app even more! Excellent customer service and now I can have one app for everything! The only complaint I have is that I wish it also had a weight tracker. Unless I keep overlooking it, which is possible. This app is easy to use and I find that I am making better eating choices because I am held accountable. I love the options of support from other users as well! I am only 2 days in, but really like it so far.
I'm Giving it a Shot I have used Myfitnesspal to track for years, but lately I find the app crashing frequently. I searched for an alternative, and this was the highest rated app. I decided to give it a try. The interface is very user-friendly. I did ding one star, because I wish the food database was a bit more comprehensive. Right now I'm having to input a lot of nutrition data myself. With that said, once it's entered you have that item locked into your recently saved for quick access.
Great for simple weight loss I was looking for an app that will log my calories, exercise and let me know how much I need to eat to lose weight. Its been a week and I successfully lost 3 lbs. I eat a little less than logged due to sharing food with my daughter. So the 2lbs a week is going great!
Absolutely great app. Been totally and absolutely perfect with helping me keep track of calories, other nutrition information and weight. Love the daily coaching tips. Helped me set realistic goals and proved me with a weight goal date based on "my" eating and exercising expectations. Best app I've used. And yes I've lost weight.
Stick to it! If you consistently use this app, it will help you lose weight! Easy to follow, easy to find what you need, large community for support, and if you look at the site online, you can turn on a meal plan. My favorite thing about this app compared to other ones is that this one tracks many different nutrients as opposed to just the main ones.
