Do not use for avoiding allergens in food Trying to find an app to avoid an allergen. This app seems to have no option for "no data available" for users who enter a food. Instead, they just enter 0.... giving the impression that the item does not exist in the food. A good example would be vitamin E in italian dressing. Many listed on this app say 0% vitamin E which is clearly wrong because there is oil in italian dressing, which is high in vitamin E.
Unreliable I am on dialysis and I need to monitor everything I take in. Too many users adding their own version of the nutritional values instead of taking them straight from the manufacturer. Nutritional values have to wide a range for any given item. It started out looking very good for me but when I realized what was going on it all fell apart.
Good App Want a little more Ilike the app a lot but I would love the ability to build a complete meal of the items Iooked up. Ilove the ability to search by Grams as that is not on any other app I have found, but I want to be able to combine everything together to see a complete picture.
Not able to use it with other Sparkpeople apps Love being able to scan bar codes but I can't then add a found item to my nutrition tracker. And this app has foods that aren't found in the Sparkpeople database. Very frustrating.
does what it says... works. i would that you could look up additional foods and group them to get totals for a meal. Also, I do not see away to clear the search line except to backspace. --- I would pay $1 to remove all adds --- I would pay $2 to have meal totals and remove the adds. <-- I think many others may also. ::: I have to uninstall because I cannot move this to my sd card...phone mem is too low
Very useful but ... Why doesn't it list Vitamin K?! Anyone on blood thinners needs to know and track this, just like a diabetic needs to track carbs. You'll get 5☆ when K is added.
