Kind of works This is a rather clunk app but it is the only app that serves my purpose. I basically wanted an ability to continuously push audio alert to my tablet whenever there is at least one unread message on my gmail account. So, I have the email account monitored via scripts on my Linux server and use "cat /tmp/someWaveFile.wav | nc -q 1 ip_address_of_android 6477" and I get the file played on the tablet. Now I loop this from the Linux machine. The only problem is that the wav file does not exactly play correctly it seems to playback at 50x or something like that but since all I need is an audio alert it's fine for me. BTW, you need to keep this app running in the background to be able to push the sound. Hope this helps someone (given that the speakershare client S/W does not appear to be found anywhere).
So the author mixed up client and server, you have to download the pc client even though it broadcasts... also wont work on win 7.
Simple, free, and it works I use this application to stream my music from iTunes on my computer to the Android. Excellent
Servers receive connections. Clients make connections. This is a server. Useful tool to have on your belt.
No directions... Not sure how to use this. Tried to figure it out, but was unsuccessful.
No directions not worth being free it's so confusing
