Developing quality listening skills at an early age is a great advantage for speech sound, language and reading development. Listen Hear targets focused listening and attention, vital for speaking, reading and learning. Listen Hear aims to assist with listening skills, auditory memory as well as auditory sequencing (remembering in order). Listen Hear relates sounds to the visual symbol (alphabet) which is important for reading development.
Listen Hear focuses on paying attention to contrasts between sounds.
Listen Hear was designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Listen Hear has been divided into sections for specific sound contrasts:

The exercises are completed quickly for positive reinforcement. They can be repeated any number of times.
The game "Find Me" focuses on listening to one, two, three or four words at a time. The game "Follow Me" focuses on listening in sequence to as many items as can be remembered.
There is an Optional Timer as a feature for increased motivation and challenges. Each wrong tap attracts a five second penalty.
