I've used Root Explorer several years... I have invested in and appreciate using this file Explorer. Very clean and easy to navigate. Tasks like moving files are actively displayed in notification bar. The process is very reliable even in itself. I am confused as to why I now have ads, the recent months with material UI update (very well done BTW) , but though I have purchased, whats with the ads?? "Outstanding" to... "OK". Am I missing something?
I'm sorry for just now finally writing a review after several years. And more sorry that it's a four star instead of the five star you would have received not long ago. But the new style is horrible. Please go back to the old style. I can't stand the new bookmarks setup or the weird looking icons. And the copy/paste is just not intuitive. And I've been on this new style for a few weeks now. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it. Still my favorite app right next to Titanium Backup though.
Great app for rooted devices I have been using this app for many years. It does provide user to access the system files as well as many other editing capabilities. I took out one star d/t newly implemented user interface. It can use some upgrade.
Whats with the update? Why the UI change? Its horrible, please add in classic support! 2 stars, now I'm having issues moving files even with root? Please advise on how to fix please.
Couldn't care how it looks but how it works, used to be easy and the best now barely works rather the old so back after all these years. I hate people crying about how it looks. If it works don't fix it
Just not good anymore It doesn't give immediate storage usage anymore. Been using this for quite a few years now and never had an issue until recently. They said they were working on a fix for it but completely changed the UI and the way they solved it was just taking out the boxes for checking items. Not crazy about it now.
