Review from A Google User
Still the best root file manager
Perfect file manager for everyday use. Been my go-to file manager since 2011/12 and haven't used any other since! Good job. The app icon could be a lot sexier, though 🤔...
The best full functioning root file explorer, manager, and editor I have found. Some others feel dodgy and not as fuctional
Nothing beats Root Explorer. --> It's time for a new, modern app icon...
WAS, The BEST ROOT browser until this past year of updates. No longer shows ROOT directory. I tried to work with developer and they seemed willing to help but no solution was made. I was forced into looking for another ROOT browser and found a app from jrummy called Root Browser. This app will give access to the Root directory without your phone being rooted. Sorry to change my review and I used to love this app. I used Root Explorer for a estimated 8 years on 5 different devices and advertised it to everyone I could. For the readers of this review, Root Explorer is a awesome app. I'm not giving a 1 star rating because of quality or features, it is for the one reason I stated above. BUT if your phone is properly rooted then you'll enjoy using it. For the unrooted users, we are forced into other apps. Why Speed Software can't just add the android permissions needed to do what 3 other apps I use do, is not understandable.
Still the best file manager ever! Bravo. No need to apologize for frequent updates. That shows accountability to us and this great app.
I love this software, I've been using it for YEARS! I would love to see Microsofts OneDrive implemented and also wifi file management. With that, it'll be the perfect file manager.
