About this app

Speekoo is the new language learning app that challenges you to learn a NEW language! We tried to make it 10X faster, 10X more intuitive and 10X more motivating than anything else that exists today.

6 languages are offered for now: French, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese and Japanese. But we plan to add new languages if you like it :)

Each language has more than 20 levels and each level has 12 lessons. To make the whole learning fun, each level is a city and each lesson represents a moment in your virtual travel.

We hope you'll like it, feel free to tell us what you think !

For the devs: I just started level 19 in beginner German and the culture cards are showing up but are blank. Not sure if that was intentional? Also, the progress bar often goes way up then back down again after each progression. Kind of an awkward animation. Lastly, my content/UX is totally different from the Play Store app photos. I don't have any videos. Maybe it's based on the language? Other than that, I'm enjoying it! Thank you for making language education free!!

ALMOST PERFECT. Man, I've tried so many other apps and websites, but nothing immediately sticks like the lessons here. In just a few days I've already learned so much, can almost nearly form an entire sentence in Japanese. Super cool, it's sticking too which for me - is difficult. I'm no big brain and that's for sure. I do wish there was a way I could pause the podcasts at the end of each lesson tho.. I find that she goes so fast sometimes and I end up missing some of what she's says

It's fine. I'm a duolingo user, so I'm more used to that format and prefer the variety of choice it has, both in terms of languages and the activities within a language. This is very linear and feels very constraining to me. And imo duo does a better job assessing your skill level and putting you at a good starting point. In this app the intermediate is too easy, and the hard is too hard, and they don't tell you why you got something wrong. But it's free and easy to use, so I'll keep it.
