Last chance I tried this and it royally SCREWED me. I will give one more chance tomorrow. If by some miracle it decides to work right, I'll increase your stars. And why doesn't it take your starting point as the begin to round-trip? Obviously I'm gonna start from where I'm at!
Works, user interface would need adjustment Use this app occasionally for work and it'd be nice if we can change the stops by holding and dragging it to the order we like. Using the arrows take a little time before hitting the optimization button.
This app is great. It will take a little getting use too. The optimize function is darn accurate and it links seamlessly to my google maps app. I love the apps ability to access my contacts thus eliminating having to type unnecessarily. Another very useful function is the ability to save routes. Very nice. I'm not an expert, but I'd have to say well done!!! Oh yes I forgot, IT'S FREE!!!
Good. After steep learning curve Took me about 1 hour of trial and error. In a quiet room. Kids at school. Wife at work. Good nights sleep. To get it to work. Do NOT try to learn app while your on the road! Under stress. Etc. You WILL fail.
It works ok as a route planner but is not intuitive for the new user. I entered a set of test jobs & it did a great job of ordering them & letting me shuffle the order so bonus points for that. Unfortunately it seems to think that those job sites are a constant or unchanging route & there isn't an obvious way to change that. I would love to see a "filing cabinet" with all of my customer job locations and simply be able to drag & drop from my filing cabinet into a route for that day... or another day. An option to enter a scheduled appointment time that would resort other sites around that time would be great too... if I have a job appointment at 11 AM it doesn't matter if there are 10 locations between here and that appointment I need to visit - the scheduled time takes precedence. Either way - has positive aspects but the learning curve was more than I wanted to fool with... especially with that blinky ad flashing all the time... perhaps give folks 7 days with no ads or limits then have it revert to free / ad supported version. Good - but not for someone who's "route" changes daily even if customer list remains pretty constant. Was unable to get it to link with map or nav app.
Its actually great It's frustrating at first. You need to learn how to use it before it becomes useful. Once I understood why it chooses the route the way it does, I can easily navigate the day. It saves a lot of time, and for our business that equals money. One suggestion would be to gain the ability to add notes for each stop, bc each stop is a customer, I want to see their names on the list not just the address. Thank you
- Free version of the app now supports up to 30 Stops! (Pro has been incresed to 85)
- This version fixes a bug when running on Lollipop
