Accessing App Settings on 4.4 KitKat I've used this app on multiple devices, dating back to my Palm Pilot days. It is a simple app without unnecessary complexity. The separation of "all items" vs. "need items" (shopping list) makes it quick and easy to compile a shopping list and also check items off while shopping. It took me a while to figure out how to access the application settings and options on 4.4 KitKat. To access you need to hold down the App Draw icon, then the advanced settings and options are displayed.
Great data base ready to use I have being using Plashshooper since I had a Palm Treo about 6 years ago, at first I used to keep a data base of my movies, now I keep inventory of my guns including their serial numbers, its very easy to use, very easy to set up a new data base. My only wish is; more fields, you are limited to 2 custom fields and a couple not customizable fields. I still gave it 5 stars, for the price, easy to sync, holds information on almost any item you own as long as you manage to use the fields you are given.
Not as good as Palm version I loved Splashshopper on every Palm device I owned, but the Android version is buggy and hard to use. The worst thing is the way it freezes up on the pink screen if I hit "back" too many times. I have to power down my phone to get it to work again. I tried the Out of Milk app, but it doesn't track prices. Splash people, you need to pay attention to what the reviewers are saying and fix it!
I was talking to a friend about what I put below. And He showed me how to get the menu up. I am enjoying Splashshopper again. I also have been using this program from Palm to Blackberry to Note 2 with no problem. Note 4 does not have a menu button and the program does not have a menu button. now I can't use it, but, I do love this. You'll need to put a menu button in the program. Thank You
There are a few issues with this app 1. On start-up, the 'splash' screen remains for 4 secs. Serves no purpose other than corporate vanity. Needs an option to suppress 2. The currency is fixed to $. The app should either remove the $ sign or support user defined currency prefix. 3. With a long list, when you change or open a record, when you file it, you are returned to the top of the list, not where you were! 4. Items selected as NEEDED remain in ALL ITEMS. Not helpful for a tick off list. Needs some refining.
Don't Bother. Your Memo app is more practical! Irritant #1: Splash Screen stays on for way too long before resuming to main list Irritant #2: Perpetually checking for License Irritant #3: (Biggest issue) to this day, and I have written in to them a few times- NO CLOUD sync. Which means, every time you create a list, you have to sync to desktop. How arcane is this. Uninstalled Desktop and Android App. What a mistake!
v.3.1.2 - Moves the category filter to the main menu items and fixes an issue when switching between filters.
#1 rated & most downloaded shopping list on Google in 2017. Need we say more?
