Great program, sometimes a bit confusing, especially if you change hardware. I have lost my information on previous versions of Splash ID Safe Password manager. When I contacted the company they sent me email assistance that I could not understand. You cannot get to a person for assistance , so I lost my information and had to build my information from scratch. when I wrote one of these reviews again I got the same thing an offer for assistance from someone who could not do anything but talk to me in "tech speak". I gave up after a couple attempts. if you are not a person who can understand the technical aspects of programming and files this app is not for you. The newest cloud version is much better. my information doesn't get lost anymore as its stored away and I can get it with one password. If you are someone who needs to talk to a tech to help you resolve problems they do not provide this service. No person talks to you other than by email.
DO NOT BUY THIS APP. I DID (10+ YEARS AGO) PURCHASE A LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION FOR BOTH MY PHONE AND LAPTOP. NOW THEY MUST BE HARD UP FOR MONEY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOW HOLDING MY PASSWORDS HOSTAGE UNTIL I PAY AGAIN ON AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION. I AM SURE THIS IS ILLEGAL TO HOLD ALL MY HUNDREDS OF PRIVATE PASSWORDS ETC. UNTIL I PAY AGAIN! Why? So now I will find a Company that has a better customer service department. I have hundreds of passwords, so to have to find another app is soooo annoying. I would have given this app 5 stars until today when I was told if I wanted to continue to use it I would have to pay annually. This Company are not to be trusted. So don't buy from them. It is bad customer service to go from selling as a one off payment (for over 10+ years) to now decide, oh we will cash in again by moving the goal posts and change it to an annual payment. I thought that stage coach robbery had been and gone....... but it would seem not in this Companies eyes. It's alive and running. I am so annoyed my hands are shaking whilst typing this. DO NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASES FROM THIS COMPANY, FIND ONE WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Lost Data Update (Dec 15 th) - changed my email address on file which somehow fixed my issue. Program is working again and data is restored. (Dec 6th ) Something happened with the last update. Lost data, can't sync., crashes repeatedly. Have used for 3 yrs, now looking for a different app.
I bought this app and used it for years and loved it. I Told a lot of other people about it and now I wish I never did. After this last update I have to pay for membership to keep using The app or to even to see my passwords. This company doesn't care about original customers anymore. Beware if you are thinking of buying. You will be in my situation soon. I am going to move on to another password vault and find another company that appreciates long term customers. Take a look at other posts. I am not the only one.
Purchased life time license years ago and now they want a subscription. Was very happy. Now looking to dump and get an alternative. Not a good business model.
After using the app now for a short week I have come to the conclusion that it is much more than it is advertising. Running into a lot of not knowing how, the help I got per mail was instant and professional. Not one mail but about 15 mails in a 2 day time span. All have been answered instantly. The best help I have had ever for any app.

Steps to enable fingerprint
- Works on devices with Android Marshmallow (6.0 or above)
- The device should have fingerprint hardware capability
- You should have at least one fingerprint enrolled on your device
- To enable fingerprint unlocking in SplashID, go to Settings -> Security Settings screen
