Used to work well - now having issues This used to be a great product, but since the last update my phone has consistently identified my laptop as being on a seperate network even if they aren't, thus forcing me to subscribe. Switched to team viewer for a completely free alternative.
It needs some work. It doesnt stay connected all the time in the background it will randomly disconnect and ill have to log in all over again which is really annoying, there is also a small delay but thats fine. The random disconnecting is the biggest issue i think needs to be dealt with.
Technical issues With every update, for me, the software seems to be getting worse. Which is unfortunate because it used to be a good app. Its not bad for the price at all when its working but in all honesty I spend more time trying to conncect than I am able to use it. I promise you... Im not currently "connected to another splashtop session."
Suddenly broken Suddenly unusable. When i connect, it goes to a black screen and i can hear the computer, only to crash 2 seconds later saying "unable to connect". Makes the app useless. Used to be hands down my favorite app. Will change score when fixed. EDIT: In response,I'm fully updated on mobile and pc. May even be what caused this problem.
Very useful I use it at work and home only complaint is that app makes me log in every time i open it even though I check stay logged in. At work I use it on a network that has no internet access so I have to switch networks to log in then switch back to use. Still a great system though
I finally figured it out! Now that I figured out how to use this app, I would give it ten stars if I could. I don't know about everyone else but for me there was a slight learning curve compared to some of the other apps out there. But, once you learn how to use it this feature-rich app rises above all the others hands down. I'm glad I gave it another shot.
