About this app

The Clubspark Booking App provides a convenient way for Tennis players to book available courts at Tennis venues across the UK.

Built in partnership with the LTA, users can also pay for court bookings through the app using the secure Stripe payment method.

The app provides a simple tab system allowing players to view upcoming, previous, and cancelled bookings. Users will also be able to clearly see where bookings have been refunded.

The app provides all the relevant booking information as well as directions to the venue where you are playing.

Once a court booking has been made you can easily share this booking with the person you are playing against, so there is no excuse for you and your friends to be late on court!

Simple interface and easy to use... If it works! Have found that it can be a bit buggy if you have multiple memberships and sometimes you won't see some - then it tries to charge you instead! 😡 Or recently I've found times where it just can't seem to load anything and there's just a swirly logo... Hopefully bugs are fixed and things go back to normal as many clubs/public courts seems to use this app!

The functionality of the app is generally good. But I had to delete the app data a couple of times to keep it working (it was just loading endlessly). After the last re-login, it doesn't show my upcoming events on public courts. It shows the two clubs I'm a member at, but whenever I book a local council court, it doesn't show up. I have to look for the email or check online to see my code. Very frustrating.

The app will lose your Auth session if you don't use it for a few days, meaning you can still see existing bookings and check availability of courts, but are unable to book with no details/errors. Logging out and back in again usually resolves the issue, but not always and with no details/error messages it's hard to know what the actual issue is. Edit March 2025: This is still an issue. Additionally, the in-app feedback form hides the "submit" button under the phone's notification area.
