Just updated. The map draws but the parking spots do not draw. Makes it impossible to use. It's a great app when it works. Not giving up. Updated 11/22/2017: I found a possible bug and a workaround. Reported it. Very friendly people.
1. This app has never not worked for me. That alone would cause me to rate this a 4-5 star app. 2. This weekend, I booked a spot, but after the reservation had started (before I entered the garage) I had to cancel my reservation. I called the number on the app, but nobody answered after a few rings, so I hung up to try to call back. Before I could call back, THEY RETURNED MY CALL!! That's unbelievable in its own right, but then the woman who called REFUNDED MY MONEY! It was the best customer service experience I've had in a long time - maybe ever. It wasn't their fault I had to cancel my reservation, but they refunded my card immediately, without asking any questions. And the woman was so nice. I highly recommend this extremely useful app if you live in a city with high parking rates. It will not let you down.
I downloaded it to pay for parking for a show down in atl. There was no attendant on site so I assumed they'd check that I'd paid by my licence plate like the app suggested. My car wound up getting booted and I had to wait for an officer to come bc apparently my plate didn't show up in their system! While i waited, i found someone else in the parking lot that had the same issue with getting booted bc of the app. Thankfully, once the officer showed up after a 30+ min wait, he was great and I was able to leave without having to pay the fee after he saw my pass. However, even he remarked what an inconvenience this app seemed to be for BOTH parties, as it seems this is not the first time they've had this type of issue with ppl using the app. I won't be using this app again.
Was gonna be somewhat late (30 mins) getting back to my spot. "Extend reservation" would not load on the app or website via the email link that advertised that this was an option. Was on hold for customer service for approx eight minutes. I get that Spothero doesn't own the lots and they can't always extend time, but was then floored when the customer service rep I was assigned treated me to a mini-lecture on my personal responsibility RE: picking up my car on time (hey dude. Y'all can't field a service call in <8 mins, so... Glass houses.). Thumbs down.
Great customer service. Spot was MILES away. Didn't park and lost $8.00. SpotHero refunded no questions asked. Will try again.
