I used this app on quite a few times and always found great deals that are much cheaper than the regular parking rates. Never had a problem using the parking pass at the garages. On a recent occasion I had a problem with the parking lot being closed on arrival. SpotHero support was very helpful. They refunded my purchase and credited me the difference for the higher rate that I paid at the airport.

Only leaving one star because I couldn't give zero. Every time I have used this app to park, I have encountered issues in either accessing or exiting garages. Their customer service is abysmal. Their solution is to "credit" an account instead of actually refunding money - and they credited less than the total amount of money I spent on parking. They explained that this procedure was a "courtesy". My most recent trip cost me nearly triple the amount that I would have paid the garage directly.

Deserves the 5*. My go-to for NYC parking garages (and it wasn't for a long time; I used to primarily use BestParking). But there are great deals here and the customer service is very good. At one point, refunded my reservation for credit and then used it a few weeks later, with no issue. Try it if you're looking for a go-to app for deals on NYC (or probably most major metropolitan areas) parking garages.
