Key Features:

Offline Functionality: Recognizing the limited network coverage in patrol routes, the app works seamlessly offline, storing data locally and syncing it when a connection is available. This ensures that patrollers can continue their vital work without interruption.

Patrol Route Management: Equipped with GPS tracking and mapping features, the app helps patrollers navigate and record their routes efficiently.

Structured Reporting System: The app offers a robust reporting system with categories tailored to the community’s needs, such as reporting natural disasters, activities, biodiversity, and interactions. Users can attach photos to their reports, enhancing the quality and reliability of the data collected.

Alerts and Notifications: Implementing a VIIRS alert system, the app notifies users of high-risk forest fire areas, enabling quick and informed responses. (Urgent issues like detected fires or illegal activities trigger immediate notifications to ensure timely action)

Community Engagement and Collaboration: The app fosters community engagement by prompting users to edit and collaborate on reports. This feature encourages active participation and ensures that the data collected is accurate and comprehensive.

Data Validation and Security: To ensure data accuracy, the app includes a validation system where users can vote to validate observations or be pending on a moderator’s approval. This adds an extra layer of security, ensuring only verified observations are accepted. (Pending approval)

Data Analysis and Reporting: Local organization staff and global NGO coordinators can analyze the collected data to generate reports, identify trends, and make informed decisions. This analysis supports community-government collaboration and raises awareness about environmental protection.
