Relive the excitement of Final Fantasy Adventure―
a timeless classic remastered for a new generation.

      ■STORY
Enshrined atop Mt. Illusia, high above the lofty clouds, stands the Tree of Mana. Drawing its life energy from the boundless celestial aether, the sentinel grows in silence. Legend holds that he who lays his hands upon its trunk will be granted power eternal―a power the Dark Lord of Glaive now seeks to further fuel his bloody quest for domination.

Our unlikely hero is one of countless gladiators indentured to the Duchy of Glaive. Each day, he and his ill-fated companions are dragged from their cells and bade to fight exotic beasts for the amusement of the Dark Lord. If victorious, they are thrown back into the dungeons with just enough bread to tide them over until their next match. But a body can only take so much, and it is never long before the weary captives succumb to their cruel fates.

      ■SYSTEM
Adventures of Mana's battle system grants you the freedom to move about the playing field without restriction, allowing for thrilling combat in which you decide when to attack and how to evade.

      ・Controls
Player movement is achieved via a virtual joystick accessible anywhere on the screen. An auto-adjust feature has also been added so that even if your thumb strays from its original position, you will never lose control of the hero.

      ・Weapons
Weapons are divided into six unique categories, some with uses beyond merely dealing damage. Determining when and where to equip each kind will prove the key to success on your quest.

      ・Magic
From restoring lost HP or removing various ailments, to rendering foes incapacitated or dealing deadly blows, there are eight different spells for almost any occasion.

      ・Obstacles
Bloodthirsty enemies are not the only things standing in the way of completing your quest. You will need both tools and your wits to overcome the many challenges encountered in the world of Mana, ranging from locked doors to hidden rooms to traps growing progressively more complex as the game progresses.

Love it, but buggy Update: 4.5 hours in, just after Jadd in the desert, I was glitched into the ocean while riding my Chocobo while moving between area. I'm now unable to get back onto land, or dismount. Completely SOL now.*** I adore this remake as much as I adored the original, Final Fantasy Adventure. It's beautifully done without detracting from the original mechanics that I loved. Sword of Mana was a lovely remake as well, but this didn't redo a lot of the story and gameplay, so it's a nice refresh.

Like Mark McKenzie, got stuck in "Glaive Castle 1F" between two locked doors. Unlike other similar areas, this particular section of the castle never spawns Skeletons. Given that this burned Mark, this issue has been around since February 2016 (or earlier). I also experienced one crash, though one crash after several hours of gameplay isn't a disaster.

Incredible remake of a classic A great remake that upgrades the gameboy adventure into the modern asthetics, without adding weird new gimmicks or twisting the game into something different entirely. One of my favorite games as a kid (struggles of playing an old gb in the dark :/ ) this is easily one of my faves now!

Takes a while to get used to. Final Fantasy Adventure was one of the most fun games I ever played. This doesn't do it justice. It's bulky, I can't target monsters 1/2 the time. The menu is confusing. I should have saved my $13 and just download a rom if the original. ***UPDATE*** I gave it another chance and it grew on me. I got the hang of it and am having fun.

I love the story so far, but my problem is that the controls think that I'm going diagonally down and to the right whenever I'm not touching it. It's really annoying, especially when I walk into a building and suddenly I'm outside again. Also, some of the enemies seem to walk straight through walls. You may have 4.3 stars, but there's still bugs that have been around since June 2016--that's an awfully long time since a last update to fix bugs. Please update the game, I really want to enjoy it without wrestling control of my hero from the computer.

This is the update that Final Fantasy Adventure really deserved! The controls are very intuitive and the new additions are great without taking away from the original gameplay I loved. The music and story are just as phenomenal with their new arrangements, and if I had one complaint, it's that I don't remember the Mantis Ant being this hard the first time around...

Really fun, smooth gameplay. Though this is a Final Fantasy game, it plays a lot like a retro Zelda. It reminds me of A Link to the Past or something. Same concept pretty much. It requires a lot of thinking and not just focused on combat. I like the way the story is flowing so far

Extremely dull Skip it. Play Sword of Mana instead. Art is ugly, combat is one button, spells at boring, and the enemies largely just try to run into you rather than have proper attacks. Sword of Mana is the superior remake in every way.

Runs beautifully, touch controls take some time getting used to. Story is exactly the same as the original. Don't listen to the people giving negative reviews. They either never played Final Fantasy Adventure and/or are trying to run the game on a modified device. They're giving low points out of ignorance.

Amazing As far as modern remakes of old games go, this is about as faithful as it gets. The 3D enemy models, the world, the dungeons, and pretty much all elements in the game were all recreated with great precision, but with nice, small variations, such as changing certain ways the bosses attacked and moved, adding subtle elevation changes into the world map, and I particularly liked the addition of a second sickle. The rerecording of the music is glorious. This is hands down my favorite game soundtrack ever.

Wont launch Game launches then immediately closes. Uninstalled and reinstalled, problem remains. No refund option for a game that i can't play, so 1 star until something is resolved.

Help Awesome game, loved the classic gb version too. I just recently started a new file but the enemies in the eastern cave won't spawn unless I save my file inside the cave, close the game, and then open the game again. The real problem is that the enemies, once I do get them to spawn, won't drop a mattock so I can't progress any further :[ Haaalp please

Good but keeps crashing It's a good and entertaining game so far, especially on mobile, but it keeps crashing on the mansion roof when you fight the octopus boss. Wish I could finish the game, but it looks more like my money will go to waste

Had a save issue so I originally rated it one star, but it seems to be fixed. Other than a couple glitches the game is perfect. I'm glad they stuck as close as possible to the original. I've been playing the mana series and wanted to go back to the first one, this is way more fun than a game boy game!

It's a good game. The controls are a bit tricky at first when fighting but once you get the hang of it, its a piece of cake. I definitely like the slight humor it gives and how cute the characters look. Truthfully this game is a 5 star. But recently when I got a new phone, the game became glitchy. All of a sudden my character keeps going to the far bottom right and when I go to the menu screen, it keeps going to different choices. It kept pissing me off. I've tried uninstall and installing but no luck.

Excellent game but lots of bugs The game graphics would glitch frequently and it would occasionally force close, usually when changing weapons from the quick item slots. The story and gameplay were both excellent, however.

Good port. Lackluster game. Terrible support. Faithful remake of a kind of bad Gameboy game. Gamepad support is nice. Android TV support is great. Automated canned response telling me to register on your site to get support is an insult aggravated by the fact that said site is entirely and only dedicated to the 'big' console games.

Please bring it to home consoles!!! The original game was my first RPG ever. I loved it and still do! The 'remake' Sword of Mana was crap compared to the original Seiken Densetsu. But this game lives up to the legend. No five star ranking due to crappy touch controls (which suck in general). Please bring this one to consoles!!! Would even pay a lot more for a port and hence better controls!

BUY THIS GAME! Fun for new players and veterans alike. Such an EXCELLENT remake! The original, Final Fantasy Adventure, was such a fun game back in the days of the Gameboy. The remake for Gameboy Advance was very good, but lost the "feel" of the original. This game recaptures said "feel" of the original perfectly. The visuals are just right and very well done, the sound and music are simply beautiful. The controls are not bad for touch screen, but the support for bluetooth and built in controllers is spot on! Well done SquareEnix! This is the quality I came to expect from Square back in the day. Now if they'll just polish up Secret of Mana[which only has minor glitches and is also a wonderful game] and the Final Fantasy games on Android...

I regret paying for this game so much. I hate games that I have to use walkthroughs on in order to make progress, but you'll need it. The map is so convoluted and indirect, it's pointless. Have fun getting lost for hours. The ncp's are so basic, one line, no change for most before/after an event occurs. The houses are glitched looking. Overall I'd say this looks and feels like a student project, or maybe something thrown together over a weekend just to make money on. I'd rather play something in 8bit that had more depth, I feel like this is something that should be free to play, and flooded with ads, it's just terrible.

Revived Downloaded and found my old volume of Nintendo Power issue #28. Remember it on my old gameboy growing up. Love this new improved Final Fantasy Adventure. Playing with the throwback music is a trip down memory lane. Takes a bit time to edit the control but it works excellent for touch screen. Party on dudes.

8 hours in and bugged game forced reset The developers thought it would be good to keep a bug in from TWENTY YEARS AGO - when you get to glaive Castle there's a bit where you get stuck between two locked doors. If you don't have keys you're forced to reset all your progress. Absolutely shambolic of square Enix. Disgusting.

Boring and annoying. The game is boring and bad. Dpad is hard to aim. The variation in weapon, magic etc is very simple and boring. The useless tag along comrades which does nothing but shooting randomly. The constant frequent need of changing weapons and items for each and every damn steps during the quest. The recycling of monsters on latter staged dungeons because too lazy to create new monsters. Do not buy this crap. It is a very low quality product for people who rarely plays rpgs.

Fun but... I like the game alot, great remake my only problem is that frequently during game play my character will get "stuck" running down to the right making game play incredibly difficult, I have to close out of the game and go back to it sometimes several times before it stops and sometimes within minutes it'll start doing it again, when I'm not touching the screen at all the character just keeps running southeast ward it's annoying, I don't know if anyone else has expirienced this problem but I with it get fixed

Great Classic Oh this brings back memories of the original Gameboy version...which I played many times. Updated graphics make this a great edition. It is short, but the fun part is replaying it while focusing on different stats. For instance, try a play through while only putting stat points into speed. Worth the buy.

Perfect game to play for an hour or two - saves automatically so you can put down at basically any time - AOM is an action rpg that progresses really quickly! Best if savored over several days. I love the animation in this game also and I don't normally notice that kind of thing. [Spoiler] The shopkeepers are fantastic.
