Would be perfect if... The actual game is great. Controls work well and the auto battle feature helps with grinding. The DRM is terrible and just publishes the paying customers. The borders on the side are kinda eh. New sprites will put some people off but I like them.
V is a better port. VI was either rushed way too fast or Square has no idea what they're doing. It somehow manages to have worse resolution, a clunkier (and misaligned at times) UI, shoddy cloud saving, worse graphic choices that don't fit the mood with some obvious tile errors, and it takes up more space. At least the DRM only checks once, it has the original music, and it has the bug fixes and cactuar magicite of GBA still fixing the old "don't upgrade Odin" problem. Cyan's skills being separately movable is a nice touch.
Great touchup on a masterpiece. I loved it's original. This is a great remastered edition that feels comfortable to play on a phone or tablet with beautiful graphics. Only complaint is that some of the minor dialogue was changed.
Port is very good, however, I'd like to report a bug, when the game is open, if you connect or disconnect a bluetooth controller, the game force closes, hope developers can see this so they can fix it.
Timeless classic. But I don't like the idea of DRM. As stated before, this usually is barely a nuisance to hackers and a problem to legal users. The game cannot be played offline. I should be able to play any game I pay for anytime I want Update: is it my idea or has the DRM taken off? Today I started playing in airplane mode. No checks.
People crashing on cloud... You need to click the Google game pad icon and login before you click cloud save. If you try to access the cloud without logging into Google, the game crashes. This just happened on my new install and I have my game back after crashing every attempt.
Fixed minor bugs.
