I can't rate it higher, it is fantastic! I have issues with the game minimising or my phone turning going to black screen, when I go back into the game it crashes. Anyone know a fix :) *edit, went into extra settings, deleted the cache and it now allows me to minimise and go back into it, just not if I am in game and lock my screen*
Few things, that I see in every other comment, no save on screen lock, and DLC play as you go... Really? Some of us work in the military where we get no signal underway guys! Next why don't you have the cutscenes from the DS version? Or anything else from the DS version for that matter? For 10$ I expected much more! Fix the screen lock issue though, I'm serious. That's a major fail.
I have downloaded and started this game. So far everything works, I have saved the game without any issues. Lots of people are saying it doesn't work at all but maybe that issue has now been fixed? Either way it works for me. Edit: This game is unplayable because it closes if you lock the screen and saves nothing.
I can't get to the dimensional vortex or new game + because the game crashes every time I get to the credits. Also, playing a mobile game without quicksave capabilities is just annoying. Square-enix has tons of mobile titles that have done really well. They need to rework major parts of the app so it has the same quality as the other titles that they have put out. It is very apparent that they did the minimal amount of effort in this port. Then they slung it out hoping previous fans of the game would snap it up no matter how many problems it has. I've only named two. There are many more.
Firstly I absolutely hate the controls, it would be nice if we could get some buttons and set analog stick. And I don't there is no music when I play the game, it just sounds and feels so empty without music.
This is an incredible game, but the port is lacking some key features. Especially when compared to other square rpg ports like final fantasy, I don't see why this game doesn't have in-game volume control. I like to rock my podcasts while I level grind my old school rpg, and that neglected aspect really grinds my gears.
Various minor bugs have been addressed.
