Note 5 update Game looks like a time killer, which is all I wanted. Unfortunately it doesn't open on my Samsung Galaxy S4. EDIT: Original attempt in May of 2014. Recently re-downloaded, March 2015. The game will still not open on the Samsung Galaxy S4. UPDATE: Game works on a Galaxy Note 5, though the game does not fit the screen, and the touches are a bit delayed.
It's a fun game However, it'll never stack up with the NES version. The idea is how fast can you move your finger while remembering which of your men is most effective. Finished game but there is no use for Gil (gold aka in-world money). Fighters never die, the just get tagged out, so to speak, until the next battle or after 3 minutes in the order they was beaten. You can do other things like watch a movie or make sure the Internet is still working so you don't have to listen to another one of Uncle Bob's crummy stories.
Fun game, but short. I don't know what people expect here. I believe they're juat hating. It IS a very fun game. Short? Yes. Objectiveless? Yes. But it's worth to play and complete 100% ('cause it's easy) at least once. Then feel free to uninstall. C'mon.. You probably liked Flapy Bird... what's worse than that?
Waste of time There are no objectives to work to, everything you earn is pointless and can't be use to help advance you through the game. You have to use real money to get anywhere and yet there is still no point sinking any money into a game with no goals
Worst app game yet Sure, the gameplay is fast-paced but all you do is flick your finger all over the place. Also, waiting. IT'S ANNOYING!!!! The microtransactions. Watch Screwattack's trailer of this game. "PLUS A DOLLAR!" Sure, the music is good but it comes from other games. Overall, this game is terrible. 3/10
Won't launch on most devices I love Final Fantasy. The play style is quite simple. Some would say too simple. I'm even ok with the ridiculous amount of IAP that comes with this game. But I'm gun shy about laying out $ if there's no guarantee it'll work on any future devices I might own. I'll revise my rating if it ever becomes launchable on my Grand Prime and my son's S5. Working on all my devices as of 12/16/16
- Android OS6 support added.
