AMAZING FF Old school style. I truly loved this game. Im 42 years old and grew up with Nes and SNES FF games. This one is just like those Old school games I used to play as a child. The game is very well done and has great graphics, music, story and gameplay. I recommend playing this game with a stylus pen instead of your hand. Im 20 hours in to the game and Im having a blast. If you like old school FF games dont hesitate on this one.
This game would not start on a phone I no longer had service on without an internet connection and I was extremely upset because I had played A LOT and gained many levels into the story. I installed it into a new phone that has phone connection and lo and behold my progress did not transfer! So now if I want to play with my hard earned progress I have to have a wifi connection. I am reaching a point where I'm probably just going to invest in a PSP and say to hell with app games.
I really like this game. I am a fan of games with class systems like Final Fantasy 5, and this game is in the same vein. The only issue that I have is the controls, which can make it difficult to move around sometimes (I use the free floating d-pad, as that is what I'm used to). Overall however, this game is awesome. I highly recommend to those who are fans of the original 16bit games, especially FF5.
Solid enough game, but gaming on a smartphone just isn't as good as on a portable console. Stupid online DRM. Just went out of country and the game crashed randomly unless I put my phone in airplane mode. Then after a few days it wouldn't load.
This game needs controller support BADLY!! It's practically unplayable connected to my media centre and my only remaining control option is a bloody MOUSE! Are you listening, SquareSoft?
It stays true to the series roots, providing a new story, elements from previous games, and a new cast of characters! I like the job implementation like in FF5, I like this game for the 2D retro feel it has. I would recommend it. Although, I do have occasional crashes.
On the 30 (+1)-year anniversary of its original release, King’s Knight returns!
