I really like this game. I am a fan of games with class systems like Final Fantasy 5, and this game is in the same vein. The only issue that I have is the controls, which can make it difficult to move around sometimes (I use the free floating d-pad, as that is what I'm used to). Overall however, this game is awesome. I highly recommend to those who are fans of the original 16bit games, especially FF5.
This game needs controller support BADLY!! It's practically unplayable connected to my media centre and my only remaining control option is a bloody MOUSE! Are you listening, SquareSoft?
Battles are hard. You can be defeated on normal battles sometimes can be annoying. Tons of battles gets annoying. Lots of armor to be found for all those treasure hunters. Auto saves after every battle and entered room. No cloud storage abd can asged adter screen shut off otherwise would be a 5. Only thing I don't like about it is jobs levels are limited during the game so make sure you know what you want to level up because you run out of points. Very similar to final fantasy 5. Love the two scenarios that you switch between throughout play.
It stays true to the series roots, providing a new story, elements from previous games, and a new cast of characters! I like the job implementation like in FF5, I like this game for the 2D retro feel it has. I would recommend it. Although, I do have occasional crashes.
Solid enough game, but gaming on a smartphone just isn't as good as on a portable console. Stupid online DRM. Just went out of country and the game crashed randomly unless I put my phone in airplane mode. Then after a few days it wouldn't load.
Lacks Cloud Save/Google Play Games integration (What if I want to play with another device seamlessly?). Able to use emojis when entering names.
