No in-app purchases that are basically necessary (you can buy hints but... it's a strategy game. So of course you can get by just don't without buying hints.), tons of levels and fantastic gameplay. I just wish they would add even more levels or release a sequel. Oh and two annoying UI things: There is no counter telling you which turn it is. Which makes extra goals with maximum turns annoying. Also, it's a pain to figure out which levels you haven't 100%ed yet.

Very fun game if you have a candybar shaped screen. Needs to be better optimized for different screen ratios. On a open folding phone with a more square screen it's "playable" but frustrating. Instead of zooming out to use the extra screen space it zooms in so what the game wants to be the top and bottom meets the edges, cutting off lots of what should be on screen to the left and right sides.

Hitman Go is the kind of game that, if not for the mobile space, you would only see on the NES or ancient PC's. It is a game that takes the core mechanics of the Hitman games- stealth, dodging guards, assassinations, and disguises- and distills them into their purest, most abstract form. Adding to its old school appeal is the fact that there's no story, no tutorial, no text whatsoever! Plus, the board game aesthetic is super creative, and really adds to the feeling of the game being a miniaturized abstraction of Agent 47's assassin hijinks. Intuitive pick up and play controls and great puzzle design make this one of the best games on mobile.
