Suzie I loved the old reader better. I don't understand all the updates. Also I have a Samsung pad not an ipad. When are you going to update being able to use my pad as a registar?
App itself is good. Paid quickly. However, I have 2 chip readers that don't work. By the time I need to use the new one it's out of 30 day warranty. We do home renovations , so we are processing large orders less frequently. Back to using old swiper.
I bought a square card reader and holder to use in my taxi, I was already using iZettle but wanted to upgrade to contactless. Square have a lower transaction charge. Unfortunately, the card reader keeps dropping out from bluetooth and has to be reinstalled frequently, too frequently to be of any use. I still have my iZettle reader which has never caused any problems, I will have to use this as a back up. I have carried out all the troubleshooting remedies but to no avail.
Used square for a few months but the reader did not work. I did not expect much in the way of support but Square support were amazing to deal with, fixed a few adjustments on my phone and sent me a new reader in the end. That reader works well. Thank you square
Love the updates!!! Although I'm still confused on how to change the domain name. I paid for one but had to open a online store with another site to use it. I would love to see improvements to the online store. I want my customers in one location
Has to be the easiest way to accept credit cards there is on the market. I've been using square for over a year and it has gone smoothly so far. Zero complaints. Highly recommend this app and device.
DO NOT USE!!!!!! This is a 3rd party processor and will hold your money for large transactions. They forced me to refund a swiped transaction to a client after customer support told me it would run through with no issues. They are NOT an honest company! Save yourself the headache and use a reputable company!
