Ratings and reviews

I'm updating my review. The below is still true, there's a lot of good functionality, but Square does not seem motivated to keep up the value of their product. Major example: schedules cannot be set to change a few months out, all staff schedule changes take place immediately which is very hard to run a business that takes automatic bookings with. Please fix! Having my payment on the same app as scheduling--PLUS free text reminders, integration with calendar makes my life so much easier!

Difficult to use, does not sync well when you make an appointment. I've had several instances where an appointment was made, but does not show in the schedule, yet when you go into the individual clients it shows an appointment was made there... Seems kind of pointless to have this if I have to make multiple appointments just for it to work correctly.

Square is a great app, but there was a period when the square assistant did not send notifications only via email .I had to manually send out reminders to my clients. The square assistant said the client opted out to receive text messages when, in fact, I knew that was not true! It seemed like the system defaulted this way as a cover-up, due to not functionally properly. It was an inconvenience, and the only issue I had so far. It appears to be working now.

What's new

We update our apps regularly to make sure they’re at 100%, so we suggest turning on automatic updates on devices running Square Appointments.
