Used Western Union and MoneyGram for years but Square Cash changed the the game. My daughter just sent me a request and I sent money 8,000 miles away and she received it instantly in her bank account. From request to receipt was less than 1 minutes.... W.U. and M.G. can't do that.

Square cash is the best. Unlike the competitors, you don't have a separate balance. If you sign up with my code QGJLRBP they'll deposit $10 in your account after the first time you send $50+. Money goes directly into your bank account. Way more convenient than Venmo or PayPal.

Used the app to receive money from my husband. Money was received but when I cashed our it never sent my bank the money and I used the "instant" option. They do not have a number you can call you must contact support via email through the app itself. I still have yet to be contacted or receive the money. (No it wasn't a bank issue).

Was unable to receive cash and when I tried to reach customer service it was impossible. I had $128 that i lost through them. If you chose to continue to use this app use it at your own risk. One day you will get your money stolen and you won't reach them. I hope this catches up with them soon enough and this app dies. They can only do this so many times before it catches up. Shame.

On my old Droid it worked like a charm. Installed it on my Edge and it's not working at all... lack of consistency is very disappointing. Sent a contact request using the support button 5 minutes ago and still no response after an auto respond message.

This app would not let me transfer funds to my bank account for free. It kept giving me a message error, "Something went wrong. Please check network connection." It would, however, allow me to transfer the funds instantly for a fee. Ironic. Will not use again. I prefer Venmo.

This app work fine when there are no problems. I had a 100.00 taken from by account it was not done by me. But it had the cash app details. My bank disputes the transaction. I also get confirmation from Cash customer service. They turn around and take 100. good transfer to my son from him. So I am still out 100.

I had someone convince me to use this for my business. It asked the same questions over and over. Finally they wanted my ssn. I thought that was strange as they should have asked for my tax id number. I entered it under pressure. She sent $50.00 to me. I did not receive it. She cancelled the transaction. Now it will not show under my apps list. Hitting the bank in the morning. I am actually scared.

I have not had any problem with sending or receiving funds. I find it secure and fast. Speed has never ever been an issue. If you find you have not received or someone didn't get money you sent. .. it is because you or they have not accepted the payment. I sent money to my sister and she didn't think she got paid, but it was simple for her to get it.

This app has me pissed off. It won't let me send money. All it does is ask me to enter my first & last name, date of birth date, and last 4 of my SSN to "confirm my identity." I've contacted customer support and have yet to receive a response. I was recommended this app by a friend and it's complete trash.

I sent money to 3 different people and to see if the app really works. They have tried sending it back and can't. It keeps saying failed. So now I'm just out of money. It was OK for me to send it to them but not for them to send it back?

Horrible customer service support. A fine app to use until you need any kind of assistance, and then realize that the only way to contact customer service is by email. It has been twelve hours since I requested support, and I've gotten no response. As soon as my issue is solved i will be switching over to Venmo.

I use square for my business. So when I heard about this app I was pretty excited. I set it up in 2mins. Got the payment and cash out to my bank. 3 hours later it failed. Now I shipped off a product and have no funds for it. I contacted support who would "get back to me shortly" but they didn't . So this app sucks and customer support sucks.

Charges you for instant deposit but the money isn't instantly deposited if it's after a certain time or day yet they still charge you for instant ..what a joke! Do not recommend this but i do recommended Google wallet..its is better and hassle free.

Well... My family has used this to exchange monies for probably a year or two. Ranting about it's simplicity. I downloaded it and began using it 5/6/17. They have a security breach they will not admit. Google will get to the bottom of it. I would recommend you delete this app immediately. Do your diligence and make sure you're NOT GETTING HACKED LIKE ME! I'm in process to right this principle offence. Money isn't the concern. My privacy and identity are far more valuable to me than any dollar amount.

Jan. 2017 : I don't like the new update. For some contacts it shows transactions twice. Can't find how to unblock someone you may have blocked. Sometimes, just leave well enough alone. I've used this app since almost day one and I've had ZERO issues. The app CLEARLY states it can take up to 2 BUSINESS days (that means weekends and holidays don't count) depending on the banks involved but most transactions go through in minutes. Also clearly stated in FAQ is new users are only able to send $250 a week by default. If you want to send more (up to $2500) per 7 day period you verify your identity by providing the last 4 digits of your SSN (they don't want drug dealers money laundering).

It's super easy to send money but the customer service SUCKS! And sometimes they don't let you send large amounts of money which also sucks. They're slow at responding and can be very, very disappointing.

New update unverify me contacted customer service took forever they didn't reply to my email had to call. bad experience not helpful generic answers did not offer to verify other ways apparently if you don't drive you're out. Used to be a great app it starting going downhill fast.

Stay far away! This app cost me several hundred dollars with no way to get it back. Their fraud policy relies on the "decency" of other people to return your money.

Was stuck in the hot sun for hours because this stupid app blocked my transaction from account to account (which I do regularly) I had no gas and no food stuck in the middle of nowhere. And guess what? still no reply! 5 hours later and still no reply! You guys held $500 dollars from me for suspicious activity? How do you make me confirm my social security number than hold my money for suspicion and then dont contact me about why my money is floating in limbo somewhere?! So angry right now!

It's very suspicious they don't accept credit cards. They are typically far better at catching fraud and working with you when that happens. For this reason will never use and suggest no-one else does either.

They stole my money and won't help me get it back. Customer service is non existent! Just a computerized response! Be careful cause if you end up missing money, they wont help you.

The app effectively enables scams. I received a confirmation of a payment from the app and released some used furniture I had sold on offer up. 5/6 hours later I received an email saying square cash had cancelled the transaction now I am trying to recover the money.

My mother sent me money to pay half my son's plane ticket to come see her. It sent to the app,but when I cashed out the money never went to my bank account. Don't use this app. Waste of time. Plus they have no support to help find your funds

I had no issues with this app, until I tried to send a friend $20. They refused to deposit the money and ignored my emails. Horrible.

They came to my rescue when I sent my money to the wrong user. They were quick to respond and extremely helpful. I can't like this app enough!!! I trust them 100% with links to my account. Thank you Square Cash!!!

This app is not good for business accounts have to wait days for large amounts to processed and later rejected because of security reasons that can't be validated. If you want to wait forever for large customer payments and back and forth correspondence knock yourself out.

First time using app, and it will be my last. They charge the person to send the money, they charge me to get the money. And the app just said money will be available shortly. It never came, it finally cancelled. I don't like this, Google Wallet is my go to for sending and receiving funds fast.

I was using this app for quite some time and it used to work fine. My money got stuck twice recently and square cash didn't take any responsibility and sent me a generic mail to retry.

No Contact Support Number... I've been trying to get location on a payment mad February 2, 2017. The issue is the recipient are receiving the runaround. The account that the recipient signed up with is no longer valid. I just wish someone I could talk to ...this is ridiculous!!!

Sent money to a profile that's no longer active. But NOW when I request it back or try to send test suddenly it can't receive anymore requests. But how do I get the money I sent back?! The person who owns it can't even access it.

Was talked into installing this for a transaction. Seller assured me it was a legit app, recommended by his bank. (See also some teller working for minimum wage who doesn't read reviews before installing crap) read the reviews. Voiced my concern regarding all the bad reviews leaving the SELLERS empty handed. Lo and behold 2 hours after paying the seller I get a notification that my money was refunded. For NO reason. Was not a large transaction. And the,seller has had the app for a long time. This saved me zero time. And only added stress and hassle. Download Venmo. At least it's through a truly reputable company with a customer service phone number and physical address. Rule of thumb kids...if the company has no phone number ITS A SCAM.

It's great when it works and when it doesn't work it really doesn't work. Ruined my plans for my entire weekend because the instant deposit I paid for never went to my account.

They don't have help support office... No number just an email that they don't answer .. They stole 150 from me.. if u call square, the company they under, they tell u they can't help u.. DO NOT USE THIS APP use PayPal

This app has made my life SO much easier. Collecting money from people who borrowed cash used to be a pain in the neck and frankly, quite awkward. No more, however! This makes it quick, easy, and awkward-free.

I don't have SSN your UX team should work on this use case. I don't have SSN that's the reason I'm not able to transfer money. I really like this app but now it's useless for me.

Worst customer support, even after send many emails still no responce. They do not have a phone number to contact and they dont respond to email. Hope they fix it.

Terrible service. No customer support what so ever. At least with PayPal you can actually get someone on the phone.

So far but you never know! It claims to be free. But you do charge to get your money the same day. I can say it's very convenient

Personally I have had no issues with the app and as far as transferring money and having access to my bank account the customer service sucks however my friend transferred money to my old cash app account which I no longer have access to the number for so I'm trying to contact customer service but nobody has gotten back to me please if somebody knows how to access an old account help
