If your employer offers RecordkeeeperDirect® – a workplace retirement plan by Capital Group®, home of American Funds® – use this app to help manage your account.

This app is only for participants in Capital Group RecordkeeperDirect retirement plans (i.e., plan ID’s that start with BRK or IRK and are accessed at capitalgroup.com/retirement/participant). It is not meant for other account types, including American Funds Traditional, Roth and SIMPLE IRA’s or 529 college savings accounts for investors.

If you’re not sure this app is for your plan, contact your employer.

Use this app to:

View key account details such as:
- Balances across investment options and contribution types
- Your personal rate of return
- Transaction history
- Future contribution allocations
- View outstanding loans and recent withdrawals

Make changes to your account, as allowed by your plan:
- Exchange between funds
- Rebalance your account
- Adjust future contribution allocations
- Update your address, phone and e-mail address

Some issues with certain detailed services. There are certain things you can not do on the app. It looks like you should be able to but the process doesn't work. You then must call and speak to someone to move forward with what you'd like to do. As for the basics (changing or redirecting funds, deposits, etc) everything works perfectly.

I posted the bad review yesterday (2/26). I was having slow loading, functionality, and server issues. I even restarted my phone and still had issues. Today is a whole different story. I was able to sign in normally and with biometric sign in. I also was able to navigate through my profile with no major issues. There still is a slow, loading issue, but it is not as slow as yesterday. I tried calling the number provided by the developer, but I don't have time to wait in the queue.

The app works 1/10 times. I have to re-enter all my info even after selecting the remember me option. When I get it all entered it tells me that I am already logged in. When I do get in the layout is pretty nice and easy to navigate. Considering the limited amount of times I have been able to log in the app is difficult to judge.
