Great app. Keep up with the development! I have been waiting for a well designed app like this. The fact that the Army has produced such a great tool for the leaders of PRT is fantastic. I would love to see a way to save Soldier PRT records for reference purposes like a leaders book. Keep it up developers.
I wish this had a tracking function like in the apple version This is a great app and well designed. There is also an iPhone version and when I had one, used this app to work out. That version is better than this one (although they are exactly the same in terms of content, design, navigation) because of the tracking functionality. I miss that about this app because I have my phone with me at all times and the PT exercises are designed such that you could do them ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME as long as you have approx 15 to 20 minutes to spare. Every exercise in here is not difficult and even gives you guidelines and tips on running for fitness. I could keep track of my progress on the apple version but not on this one. This is why I am giving it THREE STARS though I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYONE. So...guys...FIX THIS. Otherwise keep up the good work!
Exceeds the Standard! This app distills the new US Army PRT manual into an easy-to-use portable system. It is a legitimate tool, and includes several training plans with detailed explanations of the exercises. Most of the exercises can be done with a minimum of equipment- just a few kettlebells, a pull-up bar, and some grass. The training plans strike a good balance between the heavy lifting of CrossFit and the endurance of Spartan WOD. This is the result of at least ten years of research by a world-class military, FREE for your use. If every American used this, we could save about a billion percent in healthcare costs! For the fitness newbie (i.e. potato), see the Toughening Phase sample plan, which is similar to Basic Training. Reset is a 24-week plan for getting back into shape. The Sustaining Train/Ready plan covers the already-fit, and the Deployed plan can be done with minimal time and equipment if you're busy fighting bad guys. It also has a run timer and the APFT and Body Composition calculators. Note to developers: the APFT scorer could be improved by calculating on-the-fly as numbers are input (so an individual can easily set their goal, i.e. how many points if they eke out a few more).
Great App I've never seen the army release something this functional related to PT. The only disappointing thing is that it only has 50,000 downloads. This completely takes the guess work out of following manuals or hoping for a master fitness trainer to come along and show you the "right way". Simple instructions, videos, training schedules. This is how you give soldiers the tools they need to succeed. I strongly recommend this app.

Great app As a us army solider i use this on a daily basis it help with tightening your core along with impoveing your heath and stamina if you want to be all you can be i highly recommend this app
