Just spent 20 minutes trying to purchase a ticket after being forced to download the app, which then kept rejecting cards because their address format was incorrect. Finally got the payment to work, went to download the ticket, but they wanted me to "Activate" the ticket. Even though I purchased a ticket for a specific time, activating the ticket apparently means that the ticket is only good for one hour. So you're out of luck if you want to prep ahead of time when you have reliable data/wi-fi.

The app is almost as bad as the bus service. It will happily show buses that are on time or slightly late, but that never arrive, have been diverted to completely miss the stop, or have just been cancelled. It would be less annoying if the app just admitted that the next two buses were cancelled rather than continuing to show them as leaving a few minutes late, then just never arriving. Half the time, the live tracking of buses doesn't work either. Awful.

The app is an absolute waste of time. Just like the service Stagecoach provide. The cheapest 1 way ticket should be £3 due to the new fare cap. On a journey I use regular the app is showing £12 as the cheapest ticket. Also stagecoach in my area are splitting the journey even though it's the same bus and driver continuing on. They're now saying I need to pay an extra £3 to carry to stay on the bus. Absolute rip off and waste of time. I'd give no stars if possible.
