Does not show towers nearby. Tried to contact support, they never replied. Not well managed app.
Extremely comprehensive, intuitive, & user friendly. Excellent for understanding your "real & accurate" coverage and strength of service(s). Equally as excellent for comparing and evaluating all the major wireless providers (Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, & T-Mobile) in real-time and how each individually or collectively represent your local (current) coverage-area. In my estimation OpenSignal is an invaluable tool for deciding which provider use or if it's more advantageous to switch to another.
The map never shows any towers at all. I live near San Diego; there are obviously dozens of towers around me.
Nice app! One issue it appears the date and times are incorrect. All tests are showing 12/31/69 at 5:00pm.
You should be able to make an account and see what your contributions are. Also there should be a mode that allows you to go baserk and constantly be polling data like every second... So I can go walking or driving down the streets and submitting the data over wifi when I get home. Also the cell tower finder is buggy.
Cell Pointer is Wrong. I know where the tower is. It never points toward it. The Network Cell app is correct.
Fixes for application stalling on some devices. Fix updating of Stats tab.
