My Mobile Coverage #1 EDIT: says connected to Sprint tower in middle of Atlantic ocean off African coast - won't display local towers. RootMetrics 2nd, sensorly 3rd, open signal maps & cellmapper tied 4th, coverage mapper 5th, and cellumap a distant 6th. But we should use all of them at the same time to create evidence carriers can't ignore. Each collects different data needed to see network problems.
Use to work well. The tools work very well and everything worked very well until this last update then the stats page now says that I am connected 0% of the time. I am not sure why as I have great service on this area.
Where are the towers The map used to be the first screen, now tap the microscopic tower icon on the "dashboard". This app is getting a bit cluttered.
not so good I guess a few more improvements I will give 4 start
Best app. to find signal in the house Absolutely love this app highly recommended for people that need to find their best signal in the house to place Wi-Fi and booster Hardware for stronger cell phone signal in the house.
Useful for finding good cell signals I usually leave this on as I travel as I run the highest rate of test so it can determine where better cellular signals are. Then I run the speed test when I'm stopped somewhere to find the best quality and submit it to the group to post the results on the map. Because of this, I have found a few dead zones and then plan properly if i have a call or something relevant.
