A good app to help make payments easier. However the app just doesn't sink to the total amount available on the card. Even after uploading / charging with a top up amount, the app takes its own sweet time to show this. It may show the updated value for a while, but soon after closing it the pop up again comes for a low balance on the card. This is definitely a technical glitch. I rather prefer now to use my plastic card than the app itself.

I tried to add money to the app but due to its improper functioning, the money didn't get added to the app wallet, but my balance got deducted from my bank account. It has been almost a month now and I haven't yet got that balance back to my account. And starbucks is not ready to refund my money. Don't you take responsibility for the improper functioning of your app?? Why should i suffer because of that??

The Menu on this is OK, it would have been better if they could tell the avg price. For payment, there are no issues. They need to improve their rewards because honestly the rewards are too less for what we spend.

Fails while using credit card to reload. Used Citibank credit card twice within a months time. One time for 250 and today for 1500. Both times my card is charged but the app does not reflect the amount. I will have to write to Citibank to get the refund. In a nutshell the app sucks.

I bought a flat white in welcome level and didn't get a star. WTF It's almost 4 days now.

The app doesn't go beyond the welcome screen. No luck even after restarting.

Overall App UI is good and snappy. However some of the store timings mentioned are not correct and needs to be rectified. Also major issue with uploading a profile pic, I tried uploading a pic however the pic is saved in an anti clockwise rotation and there's no way to edit it. Being said that app still looks very premium and cluster free. Loved the app!

Never try to get an e card from this app. Purchased an e card by making payment of rs 500 from paytm. Payment succeeded but e card never showed up. Called customer support and gave him transaction id. Till now no one has reverted back with any answers

I don't review very often; but this app is a must have for a daily Starbucks goer! The UI is pretty decent. I'm already hooked up to that 'Shake To Pay' option. I did found one bug though. I wasn't able to set a display picture. Probably it's not an app bug. Instead it's a system bug. An experienced Starbucks card holder would realise at the very glance that the app is only an extension to your Starbucks account on their website and since there is no option of display pictures there probably that's why it's not on the app as well. The App-Lock feature is good but it can be better. iOS and Android both allow TouchID and BioEnable on third-party apps and biometrics would be a more secured way of keeping all your bank details linked to the app safe. And I do expect this from you, because you're 'Starbucks' and your R&D department is not secret. I'd use a Starbucks app in States and U.K. and ever since I've been hoping for an Indian version of the app but this one is more minimal and user friendly.

This app is a clear demonstration of how a good visual design doesn't necessarily imply a good experience. Signing up is the first hoop the users will have to jump through, and that requires too many steps for a coffee shop app. 1. Why create username when you already ask for email id & mobile number? I have to not only remember a password but username as well. 2. Unrealistic conditions for password. A large fraction of users would forget the password when it's time to login again. (Why not use Google Sign in?) 3. Birthday and address compulsory. Why?

Great, finally app is here this reduces so much of effort... I hate carrying cards everywhere and app helps me to manage and pay easily. If I have to point one negative then it is that at stores receipts are still being generated which is pointless .

Good UI and finally its here. Been waiting for this since such a long time. Makes it much more convenient to use than reloading your card via the website. It's 3 years late but better late than never

Installed the app, logged in, and discovered I had a second Starbucks card with some balance on it. Hadn't known for years. Always nice to get "cash back". Now if only this app lets you see the music playlist like you can in the US edition.

Overall app is good. App crashes when I select direction to store. It should be fixed. Also when I select Store from Pune it shows address of only one store. When I select different store, address should be changed.

The app is fast and responsive. But really need to work on the interface of the app as some small screen phones do not display the stuff properly.

Good one. You can take it a step further by enabling to app to allow the customer to place order themselves, through your menu option. Keep a check-out/finalise option, where the last step for customer would be to scan the code on the store scanner for payment and order posting on store kiosk. Think it over.

I tried to generate ecard, and when I used my debit card to pay 200 rupees to activate the card, it said failed to create the card, but the transaction was complete.I lost 200 bucks, I need it back.

Add a card does not work. Do you expect customers to add more money to buy an ecard despite having the earlier physical card?

Nice addition to the already wonderful experience. Easy to use and convenient to upgrade and recharge plus it has all the info you want to maintain your card. Great for locating the nearest Starbucks as well. Long time coming but great to finally see it here...

I am unable to add my Starbucks Gold card in the app despite having tried multiple times. Can't use the app until the card is added as the app prompts for those details every time I open it. Can you please fix this glitch?
