Ratings and reviews

From a customer standpoint, the app is all you can expect (5 stars to the developers, you guys rock) except for a tiny detail. There's no English version. Last time I checked, Starbucks was still an American company. Also, in Taiwan, newly hired staff are supposed to speak English other than Chinese. Although this aspect may seem trivial, it's paramount. Hope to see an English version soon, it's 2021 already.

I'm a frequent visitor to Starbucks in Taiwan, but have resisted getting the Starbucks rewards card or enrolling in the program on this app. The card itself is expensive, but even with the free app, the program is virtually worthless. It requires buying many, many drinks to get a free one. I'm told by the barristas it would require buying 168 drinks to get "gold" status, then 35 more drinks just to get ONE free one. Worst loyalty program I've ever seen!

Really bad service, ask for updating in the app, but can not update in play store after redirect by the app itself, hence can't use the membership card to collect credits, can't use the money at all, and the staff in the store was totally unable to help in the situation beside suspect my phone has some problems and asked me to restart the phone. For the customer who is used to digital payment, it causes a huge trouble, can't get the meal in time, wasting time, and experienced a terrible morning
