Brought to you in beautiful HD pixelated glory, Star Command brings to life the challenges and joys of managing a starship. Upgrade your ship, get out into the unknown and watch your crew die grizzly deaths all at your command. Strange and annoying alien civilizations await you at every turn. Manage each of your ships roles, focusing on science skills, tactical combat and ship engineering. Prevent alien invaders from taking over your ship and causing massive amounts of damage with sentry guns. Revive dying crew members with new rooms! Ratings and reviews

Really fun, light hearted game. You get to recruit a crew, customize and upgrade your ship, and explore space. Also, love the graphics. The only kind of negative thing is the UI seems over simplified in the beginning. You'll have to mess around with stuff before you know what's going on and you'll forget sometimes too. It's not terrible though because it makes everything look clean and once figured out, kind of easy to navigate so it's not enough to negatively impact the score.

Great concept. Fairly well executed. What ruined it for me was video lag. My phone is Motorola Droid turbo 2 and the game lags so bad that the carefully timed presses to fire weapons is about impossible. I carried on until a timed mission, which I could not complete due to being unable to for weapons consistently. The lag is the worst when there is a timer on the screen. I'll maybe try again in the future or when I can upgrade, but for now I'm rating it unplayable for me.

This game has a lot of great features from the artstyle, ship designs and layout,and facility upgrade system; but the issues come in with the combat, it is near impossible to not constantly get boarded. This wouldn't be an issue if moving units around wasn't limited to only moving one or moving all. Being able to only select the units in a specific room would be nice. It's also a pretty short experience overall.
