★ Notes

- The BW-Bank app allows access to accounts at various German banks and savings banks. After setting up a BW-Bank account, you can add other activated online banking accounts (HBCI or FinTS with PIN/TAN).

- For account opening verification, the app requires access to your camera and microphone to securely and seamlessly perform the legally required identity check.

Ratings and reviews

The app crashes every freaking time when I first want to open it. It's only accessible the 2nd or the 3rd time of trying. This bug never failed happening. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't make a difference. The real-time transfer is sometimes just completely out of order. The account balance doesn't update immediately anymore, which makes me use the calc. other than that the app is good overall. Its features and the access to its features make banking pretty efficient, easy and quick.

Can't use my account. Sometimes it doesn't allow me even to open the account details. Whenever I want to send money it shows an error (even if it's an authorized transaction). Can't use my account though it's not a problem for my money being debited for 'account management'... Support cannot help and asks to wait in order to receive a new post mail which doesn't solve the issue. Application is translated only by 40-50%. At least half of the important information is not localized.

The App was a bit clunky to use when it was working; you have to refresh each time you want to see your balance etc. But since I changed the fingerprint data on my phone a few weeks ago I've been locked out. I've spent may hours try to get it to let me back in. +1 point for security I guess XD
