Best note taking app that supports the active pen. Premium purchases are worth it. Much easier to use then LectureNotes, but not as customizable. There is no latency in regards to pen input. The pen chooser is quick and intuitive, but there is room for improvement. I purchased all the premium features and among them my favorites are the highlighter and PDF import. Premium paper patterns are only available as a subscription service. The cloud backup (also premium) implements Dropbox or Box as the backup service, which works fairly well as a backup tool. However, I would like a cloud sync feature (like Dropbox on the PC or like Google Drive) so that my notes automatically sync across devices. Right now, it works more like a backup service then a sync service even though it uses Dropbox. Your changes on one device will not sync to the other device, you have to do this manually by restoring from a backup and saving a backup.
Thanks for the response devs! I really enjoy this program. I use it for creating music charts to practice along to and also scanning my existing music into PDFs for mark-up. It's really useful for that. My only suggestion would be a single touch page turn (maybe an option in view-only mode) to make it easier to turn pages while playing. Right now, I have to export and use Kindle to have easier page turns.
Awesome app. Easy to use and features are great. Would be even better if there was a more quicker way to include screenshots or maybe import a word document without having to screenshot it. Also would be easier and quicker if you could just swipe to go to the next page instead of pressing the arrow on the top corner of the page
Love it.. Most useful app while using Spen.. Small suggestion just to make this awesome app even better would be to add thumbnail view on the side, so that we can easily jump between pages. And an option to customize the tools layout would also be pretty useful.
So I've had this app for some months and still love it. The only things I want to add our that I wish each notebook had its own setting to be able to choose default pages instead of the whole app having the default. For example, my planner notebook to have a planner default note but my class notebook to have a college note default. Also I want to be able to highlight using my s pen button. I don't know why the s pen doesn't have that option but the finger gesture does.
