This is easily the most natural and friction-free app for jotting notes on my Samsung Chromebook Plus. This has an infinite writing space, and just enough tools to be fun for doodling on. This is NOT an art app, but it's draws so smoothly that I find myself going to it instead of Infinite Painter just because it "feels" good. As a note taking application, this is pretty siloed. You cannot synchronize notes between devices, search through OCR, integrate with other apps... it's purely a virtual notepad. If it went a little farther either artistically or on the productivity side, this would be a solid 5-star app.
Great app that I use for all my school work. I convert the PPT to pdf and then edit them on the app. The handwriting part, which I use almost all the time, is perfect. My only complaint is I wish entering text was similar to onenote where after you type you can adjust the text box to fit how you would like. Often times I have to go back and press enter in the text or else the words will run off the page. For this reason I gave it 4 stars instead of5
After trying all the top rated note taking apps with stylus support, this is my favorite. Superb touch accuracy and the great user interface. It's lacking some little features here and there, but makes up for it with excellent execution of the ones it has.
This is a great app! Very simple and direct to use. Wins over all other not taking apps I've tried due to its simple and clean UI. This app needs proper milti-device sync though. Nobody is on one device only anymore..
I feel like I'm actually writing on paper, but I get all the convenience of working digitally. I tried a lot of other programs before Squid, and I didn't have any of the glitchy saving problems with Squid that I had with others. It's free. It works. I do everything on it, from my lesson plans to my journal. Love it.
I love the writing itself, I'd like it more if it backed up my notes into my Google account. No real record function, this app would be the absolute best if it had a sync and writing record function. No real feature upgrades in nearly 3 months, disappointing for a subscription app. Especially the lack of sync or more robust features around the spen.
Support for incredibly fast, low-latency ink on compatible devices (i.e. Google Pixelbook and Samsung Chromebook Plus with Chrome 62). See the difference: https://youtu.be/Oc66T_e7xwU
