A great app to complement the Nvidia Shield K1 tablet with the (now) optional stylus made specifically for the Shield. There's so many options that most anyone will find it useful with an extensive amount of templates and tools. I think it's completely worth the $1/mo charge to fully unlock everything. In fact, I think it's a steal!
I love this app because I'm always taking notes during class or doing homework, and It works great with the s pen. However I would like some features added. The first feature would be to have folders within the note books. For example have a circuits note book and some folders in there, one for class notes, one for homework, and one for practice. This would greatly enhance the app and would definitely make it 5/5. Another feature that I would love to see is to have a "night mode" where the background is black and the lines in the paper white so it's easier to write and not shed too much light in the room if it's during a presentation with the lights turned off. Another feature I would love to see would be top add different backgrounds. Finally I would love to have the option to add pages in a pdf, not just at the end but between pages so I can take more explicit notes. All this features would make this app be on top for a long time. However, even without them this app is amazing.
I find the zoom feature really disappointing. The paper background gets really blurry and distorted when zoomed in. I also don't like how i always have to scroll the page myself when zoomed in. A zoombox feature would be amazing. For about the same amount of money, I ended up switching to Notability on my sister's old ipad. Works like a charm.
I do like the app, but one downfall is the lack of bulk import and export of .PDFs. this is a known topic in the forums and it doesn't appear to me that this is on the list of additions. Not having this feature is a tremendous inconvenience for me because of the multiple journal articles I read on a daily basis; have to import separately... In 2017...
Love this app. One issue I'm having is as a left handed writer I keep hitting the back button when writing at the top of the page. When setting the sheet to letter format it's pretty unavoidable.
Not too remarkable on my SG Note 3, but seriously awesome on my SG Note Pro 12.2" Tablet (a bigger screen makes all the difference!). It does well at replacing paper for taking notes in highschool and post-secondary, however there are a few things to be desired, including the ability to sort "notebooks" into folders, the ability to 'snap' drawn lines vertically/horizontally, or to a common angle and to other drawn lines (for making charts, or '3d sketches), and the option to select a font for typed text. It would really take this app to the next level if the aforementioned feedback were implemented!
