Review from Rodrigo Carreño
Very good app, simple to use with a clean interface. I originally gave it a 5 star review but I haven't seen much development of it in the past year. It only has 3 available shapes (line, rectangle and oval), and you cannot select a non-rectangular area either. I wish you could save shortcuts to pen types and shapes commonly used (with the color and line width combination), instead you need to change each property separately, which makes it a lot less efficient to take notes than other apps
Downloaded 10 or so note taking apps for my Note 8. This is the cream of the crop. I've opted to pay the $1 monthly to improve things even more and to support the app and hopefully it'll get even better! There are a bunch of options for backgrounds and pens, and highlighters. I also like how the notes are saved and accessed. It's easy to organize everything. When on phone calls that I need to take note of the date auto populates and I can place on speaker and open a note and jot down everything I need. Truly enjoy this app, it's my most used. It's also one I recommend if anyone sees me using it.
I absolutely love this app! I was a little skeptical when first trying it, however I needed an alternative to OneNote for Android (which is aweful). My favorite feature of this app is either the ability to import PDFs or the exporting feature (which works flawlessly). There are a few things that I would like to see in this app. 1) more brushes such as a pencil. 2) password protected notes. And 3) s pen tilt sensitivity (e.i. when the pencil is tilted make the stroke wider and fainter)
I paid for the app already, and more than many other apps cost, and now I am supposed to pony up $3 more just to be able to save my notes to the cloud? And a subscription fee? I used to use Evernote and see where this is going. No thanks. Update: seems I was right. Now requires a subscription to save to the cloud (my own cloud).
As far as operational smoothness goes, it is phenomenal. I give it 5 stars cuz it's truly done well. Im grateful for the effort put into it. The zoom u can do and the ease of use is awesome. HOWEVER, developers, it's been a very long time already since u first came out, it's time u add these feature already: Please, augment the pen selection - now there is only 1 pen style. Most every other similar app has that. The color match feature is so critical that you're missing. The writing needs to be smoother as well. Right now it is very choppy, perhaps because it is vector based. Also, subfolder/directory ability, to be able to organize better. 02/14/18 Update I think it's time you integrate these critical things I've asked for for months. We're paying for this app you know, and I can't remember when you had the last meaningful upgraded. I still think it's a great app but next time I write a review I'm am going to give this app a 2-star rating and will definitely stop paying for it if there is no improvement as there are other apps out there now compete very well with this
Been using this on my Samsung Chromebook Plus, and the effective 0 latency is wonderful. I love writing out my thoughts, meeting notes, etc. on paper - something about typing just makes me forget everything and doesn't have the same weight. This app lets me use the method most useful to my learning style while not killing any trees. Highly recommended! Also has a "Notebooks" organizational tab, so no worries on having a bunch of random notes strewn around.
It's great. Would give 5 stars if writing were smoother. It's very behind in smooth handwriting comparing to OneNote, Inkcredible, or Samsung's apps. But other features are great. Easy to organize notes (could be better thou). I'm a subscribed user and the features are darn good. Other than not-so-smooth handwriting, this app blows Inkcredible and Onenote out of the water.
