Organic food is the safer choice when it comes to buying produce, as conventional varieties often contain high levels of pesticide residues. However, not everyone can afford to go 100% organic every time they shop. This app is a guide to which fruits and vegetables you should buy organic. There are some fruits/veggies that you should always buy organic, if possible, because their conventionally grown counterparts tend to be laden with pesticides.
By avoiding the foods most contaminated with pesticide residues, consumers can reduce their pesticide exposure by 80% without affecting their budgets.
Eat better with our simple tips and a farmer's market locator so you can find the good stuff locally. Add favorites and calculate how many fruits and vegetables you should be eating daily. Let the good health begin!
WHAT ARE PESTICIDES
Pesticides are used to repel, control or kill organisms in order to reduce their negative impact on agricultural products. Modern pesticides target weeds, insects, bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi and other pests that reduce agricultural yield.
Excessive pesticide contamination can be harmful to human health. Even after washing, some fruits and vegetables consistently carry much higher levels of pesticide residue than others.
Some fruits and veggies are better to buy organic, and others are safe to buy non-organic. Some fruits and vegetables require very few pesticides for growth. Some, due to tough skins or peels, absorb fewer residues.
Many fruits and vegetables, however, are sprayed with multiple pesticides, and act like sponges, absorbing residues that are difficult to wash off entirely. Peaches have very thin skin, and are hard to wash, so it is recommended that you buy organic if you can.

Did you know that there are frequent recalls of commercial dog food because of contamination? In August of 2013, there were 92 different pet food products recalled for contamination. In March of 2013, there were 217 pet food recalls. Most of these recalls were because of salmonella contamination.
Dogs who eat salmonella contaminated dog food are infected with the salmonella bacteria and can develop a bacterial infection called Salmonellosis. Salmonellosis can be very serious in dogs and may be fatal if it is not identified and treated.
Almost all commercial dog foods contain additives and, as a rule, dry pet foods contain more additives and preservatives than canned food.
The most worrisome preservatives are BHA, BHT, and ethoxyquin. If eaten once or twice per month, it might not be so worrisome. But most people feed their dogs the same food everyday. This daily consumption causes these chemicals to build up in their system and can eventually lead to serious health problems.
Our homemade dog food recipes are completely natural and contain no additives and preservatives. Doesn't your pet deserve the best dog food available?

This is a simple, fun, and free version of the widely popular sudoku game. This mobile version of our website application at www.counttonine.com brings you all the same sudoku games and features, plus more.
Standard Mode: Play one of over 100,000 sudoku puzzles, use candidates, check your answers, view the solution, and save your game progress to pick up your game later.
Skill Challenge: Test your skills at solving your sudoku puzzle as fast as possible with no help and no visible solutions.
How to play sudoku:
If you've never played sudoku or not aware what it is, it's a mental skill game that requires you to use logic and deduction skills to solve a grid of 9 x 9 tiles. Within that grid, each row, column, and 3 x 3 group will have only one occurance of the numbers of 1 to 9, thus our name "Count To Nine".
Because a number can only appear once in it's row, column, or group, it allows you the user to make deductions and assumptions of where the other numbers will be and what numbers they cannot be.
The candidate function allows you to enter the possible values of cell into the field so you don't forget some of the deductions you've already solved and gives you a visual reference to the other values in that row, column, or group.
This is truly a game for all ages and skill levels. We have five difficulty levels that will be fun or challenging for any level sudoku player from beginner to expert.
If you have any issues with the game, please contact us and we'll work to resolve any bugs or glitches. We're planning on adding more functions and features, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know and we'll try to accomodate them.
