It's not even vaguely accurate. I drank 6 units. It told me to wait 7 hours from my last drink before driving! Yet your body still processes alcohol while drinking it. Plus guidelines state you can drink 2 units and still drive and it also states it's roughly a unit per hour to metabolise. So therefore, it would be *roughly* 4 hours from my FIRST drink before I can drive again (maybe add an hour to be safe!) That was a whole 5 hours before this app claims as it suggests we count from our last drink! It's just incredibly inaccurate. Much easier to work out yourself and add an hour to be safe!
Very over cautious and inaccurate Far too general. Doesn't allow for specific abv amounts. Better off using a calculator and working it out myself
It frightened the hell out of me Trust this app and you will keep your licence and hopefully not kill anyone.
Great concept but too limited to make it useful. It only allows you to select from a small amount of drinks. In fact, I wasn't able to add the drink I had at the time (lager, 660ml, 5%). It would be better if you could add your own
What about Scotland? There was not an option for me to change the settings for usage in Scotland. It wasn't even mentioned in this app's disclaimers that the limit is 0.5 rather than the limit 0.8mg in the rest of the UK.
Use this even if you don't drive. Great app. Very surprised!!
